In 2006 Wim Zuydervelt started Molenbeek Ventures Development Corporation; a Canadian land development and investment company. Wim is the president and owns the company 50/50 with Gerrit Tijhuis, who is one of the largest builders in the Netherlands. Wim’s background in the building industry goes back to 1980. Wim was involved in the construction of 62 homes in “Horizon Lane” in West Kelowna.
Besides other projects, MVDC started in 2006 the development of Creekside Park, an attractive 50 home community  in West Kelowna.

Development Manager, Paul Teeuwen, worked with Wim as a Sales Manager at Creekside Park and then in 2009 became a partner in Elkridge Enterprises Ltd.

Due to sound financial abilities, MVDC has been able to realize all projects with only marginal bank financing. Even during the recent economical turmoil , MVDC is constantly offered more credit than needed.  This developer has built a solid and reliable reputation with trades suppliers and customers.

The MVDC development team is very pleased to bring Elkridge to the Kelowna real estate market.  They truly feel that there is a demand for affordable, well designed, modern single family homes and townhomes;  A Smart Community. With this in mind, the development team is working tirelessly to plan and build out a community of homes that offer buyers a solid alternative to condos and older re-sale homes, for a comparable price-point.
